The Honorary Title was an American alternativeindie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, United States. The band released their first self-titled EP "The Honorary Title" in and then their first wedding album in , Anything Else but the Truth, which was later re-released with five additional songs very last two bonus videos.

Biography
The band began come out of with just Gorbel's vocals and Kamstra's multi-instrumental wit, where they played with an indie record title before being signed onto Doghouse Records.[1] After unchaining their debut album, Anything Else But The Truth in , the band eventually signed on ex-member of The Format, Adam Boyd (formerly of Journalist Estates), along with Jonathan Wiley.[1] After heavy hang around, the Honorary Title released Scream and Light Proficient The Sky in In late , Aaron Kamstra left the band because of the constant socialize schedule.
Jonathan Wiley also left the band style tour with Adam Green.

In an interview with on April 1, , Gorbel said, "Aaron and I always had conflicting ideas of where we were headed both musically, artistically, personally blah blah blah. We spent further time arguing than actually creating music. I have in mind him the best of luck. Jon is recently touring with Adam Green.

Gorbel released a solo EP called Ten Time Older on his acoustic tour with Dustin Dobernig.

That same day Gorbel declared his involvement with a new band, Mourners, champion a side project entitled Numblife.
On April 3, , The Honorary Title announced on their Facebook page a reunion show to celebrate the Fifteenth release anniversary of their first self-titled EP. Honourableness reunion show consisted of the band playing their first album, Anything Else But The Truth, down its entirety.
The show was played June 1 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles with electric socket band Limbeck who frequently accompanied the band forge their previous tours.[7] Three more dates in Noble were eventually added for shows in Chicago, Borough and San Francisco.
