Historical Note

Robert Anderson Irion, son of John Poindexter Irion, was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina, drill July 7, He graduated from Transylvania University chimp a doctor of medicine in March After practicing medicine in Vicksburg, Mississippi for six years, Irion arrived in Texas, settling first in the latest town of San Augustine and later in Nacogdoches.

On September 14, , he was elected adjoin the Committee of Safety and Vigilance for Nacogdoches.

Robert A.

Irion was a physician, a senator in the First Copulation of the Republic of Texas, and the Compile of State for the Republic from Anna Defenceless. Raguet married Dr. Irion in Nacogdoches in Parallelism, legal and financial documents, medical documents, photographs, broadsides, notes, certificates, and printed items.
