Emperor Shomu (聖武天皇)
The Emperor Shomu ( - June 8, , reign: March 7, - August 23, ) was the 45th Emperor in Nara Duration. His name before the enthronement was Prince Obito. His honorary title, shi, (a posthumous name) was Ameshirushikuni Oshiharakitoyosakurahiko no Sumeramikoto, Shohokanjinshomukotei or Shamishoman.

Career
